About
I’m a writer…mentored by one of today’s top professional web copywriters, Ray Edwards.
I have an arsenal of writing skills built from 20 + years of persuasive corporate writing and leadership skills.
In my 20+ years in Fortune 500 Corporate America, I learned to build successful relationships. As an Operations leader, labor-management negotiator, leadership and special skills seminar facilitator, and one-on-one mentor, I prioritized the use of a whole-brain skill set to generate “sales” of all kinds through powerful and persuasive words that create a compelling story of facts and benefits.
Then, I let the client choose. No “in-your-face” actions, no “win-lose” choices. Just options. Options that kept the door open and included at least one choice the client “couldn’t refuse” because it gave them something they wanted.
I use my whole brain…
Why is that important for web copy or any writing?
Because writing needs to be more than “words on a page” –to sell, it must be an intuitive leap to the “scene. “
Allow the reader (your prospect) to see themselves “living” the experience. To create this, whatever you are advertising needs good copy, or “salesmanship in print.”
Learning good copy through a variety of whole brain training techniques allowed me to negotiate many successful connections, including individual (one-on-one) and stakeholder business partnerships.
Finding, writing and speaking to the emotional core that keeps all of your relationships alive. . . keeps prospects coming back to you or your website for additional product offerings – because they love the relationship and the experience they have.
More than you wanted to know…
I have both left-brain and right-brain training, with an undergraduate business management background, SPHR and Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations Human Resources certification, (analytical, left-brain) and studies of The Sedona Method, EFT, Perk-K, Psych-K, Donna Eden, and other personal growth and development programs (emotional, right-brain). This is just a small part of the lifelong learning program that I’ll use to use to write copy for you that will help ensure your success as an entrepreneur.
Are we communicating… or just “writing?…
There is a big difference between “just writing” and communicating.
We’ve just started a new decade that has been described as the most challenging and opportunity-filled economic period in 50 years. A period where our ability to communicate — to reach out and touch — can clearly differentiate between success… and failure.
One of the primary keys to any type of persuasion, written or verbal, is to analyze and understand the reader/listener’s point of view — reaching behind their presentation and/or argument to find the emotions driving that view. What will your product or services do that will make them feel good…really good. About themselves, and about where they are in this life.
In this era of Facebook, Twitter, and hundreds of other social network sites, everyone is realizing the importance of building relationship– personal, one-on-one, steps to finding what connects us to one another.
Whether you work for a Fortune 500 Company, as an entrepreneur, teacher, lawyer, spouse, etc., we all seek common ground. What will allow us to find the connections we seek to bring us to success in this chaotic economic period?
Let your words emote to the relationship you are building.
That’s what I want for you. I want you to find success in your relationships. Building profitable partnership. Long-lasting relationship. Success that feels good.
